What are the responsibilities and job description for the Companion and Transit Support position at Sittercity.com?
Rate: $20-25 a hour, Looking for a companion and transport help for my mom. She is going blind (currently low vision) and can no longer drive; additionally, she has brain cancer. The primary support is transport services and support, so she can get a change of scenery. However, she needs someone with her to help her function while outside of the house. This will increase her spirits significantly, which in turn will help her fight the cancer! Looking for 2x/wk support, totaling ~5 hrs/wk. Most of support will be taking her outside the house, but during the 1 week a month she takes chemo it would be for companionship in her home. For example, she may want to volunteer at a library reading to children—we’d need someone who can pick her up, take her, and stay to help guide her and get things she needs to avoid her moving too much. This also gives her the opportunity to have conversations throughout the week with someone. She loves to laugh and enjoys talking with people!! Thank you!!
