Part-Time Babysitter Needed for Child with Autism (Woolwich Township, NJ)

I am seeking a compassionate and experienced babysitter to care for my 12-year-old daughter who is on the autism spectrum. The role will involve providing attentive, one-on-one care while I work from home. My daughter is a kind and bright child who thrives with structure, patience, and understanding. She has a G-tube and is in-between school placements. I am looking for someone with a calm, patient demeanor and experience working with children with autism or special needs. Once my daughter is in a new placement the role will shift to every other weekend. Responsibilities: • Provide direct, one-on-one care during working hours • Assist with daily routines and activities (reading, art, and sensory play) • Ensure a safe, engaging environment • Collaborate with me to follow her schedule and respond to her needs • Manage any behavioral challenges with patience and care Requirements: • At least 2 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum or special needs • CPR/First Aid certification • Familiarity with behavioral techniques (ABA experience is a plus but not required) • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adjust to changing situations • Must have reliable transportation Details: • Location: Woolwich Township, NJ • Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10AM – 3 PM • Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience • Start Date: ASAP This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, dependable, and has a passion for working with children.
