- Description
Under general supervision, the incumbent will serve as an assistant instructor assigned to the curriculum segments and activities in Year 1 of the four-year medical curriculum. This position will work directly with the Year One Doctoring Director in Carbondale to provide educational resources for faculty and students.
- Examples of Duties
I. Teaching 95%
A. Assist training students in basic clinical skills such as working with patients, writing and reviewing history and physicals, and oral case presentations
II. Administration 5%
A. Other duties as assigned- Qualifications
A. Bachelor's Degree
B. Good organizational skills and good problem-solving ability
C. Ability to work in close association with clinical faculty
D. Excellent oral and written communication skills
E. Experience in the clinical medicine setting
F. Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations- Supplemental Information
