- Assist physicians and other medical professionals with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Evaluate and take patients' vital signs or laboratory data to determine emergency intervention needs.
- Prepare patients for surgery or procedures, and assist with movement or transport of patients.
- Collect specimens from patients using standard medical procedures.
- Clean and sterilize instruments according to policy, and maintain or repair medical equipment.
Requirements:
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Six months of work experience in direct patient care in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
