Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops, configures, and optimizes industrial welding processes from inception to start up using Lean concepts and processes.
- Designs fixtures and devices to attain high quality outcomes.
- Facilitates and participates in cross-functional process improvement and problem-solving kaizen events.
- Applies engineering best practice to all work assignments and shares knowledge with other team members.
- Assesses processes, takes measurements, and interprets data to make improvements.
- Develops best practices, routines, and innovative welding solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Performs welding process and design simulations and analysis.
- Performs risk assessments using FMEA method.
- Designs and conducts destructive and non-destructive testing.
- Develops welding process documentation and standard operating instructions.
- Responsible for maintenance of robot systems.
- Trains operators to properly run robots.
- Develop and improve programs PLC, Robot, CNC by using software to ensure efficient, cost-effective process cycles
- Other duties as required.
