What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatics Supervisor position at Six Flags America?
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain a current Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Lifeguard Instructor license
Attend all lifeguard training and assist with in-service training
Ensure that all lifeguards adhere to the professional knowledge and skill standards set forth by Ellis and Associates and Hurricane Harbor
Maintain all training and water safety equipment in a "like new" condition
Ensure that all lifeguards have completed all necessary training and that this training has been documented, prior to working in the Park
Responsible for the direct supervision of the Head Lifeguards and the general supervision of the Lifeguards, including, but not limited to, attraction operation compliance, safety, daily inspections, scheduling, disciplinary action, and administration of employee incentives
Responsible for the administration and verification of the Aquatic Safety Checklists. Must routinely perform Aquatic Safety Checklists to verify the efficiency of Head Lifeguards
Monitor and enforce all Park safety rules and standards to ensure the total safety of employees and Guests, including reporting and fixing potential hazards
Respond to and manage all aquatic rescues and events that interrupt the aquatic environment or compromise the safety of any person
Responsible for pool, deck, and office cleanliness
Ensure that all paperwork is neatly and accurately completed and filed
Responsible for addressing Guest complaints and concerns
Responsible for conducting both classroom and on-the-job training as necessary
Must enforce and ensure that all employees comply with all Six Flags America rules, regulations, policies, and safety standards
Responsible for the total labor management of all Aquatic areas, including the enforcement of all Six Flags America and Maryland state labor rules and laws, particularly noting those pertaining to minor
Must maintain professional, productive, and efficient working relationships with all Hurricane Harbor employees
Other duties as assigned by Management

Must be at least 16 years of age to Apply.
