Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Work with Promotional Events and Entertainment Supervisor on the execution of season long projects that will be assigned during department onboarding
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Operate and maintain technical support on equipment associated with specific production in the manner designed and set by the production staff
- Perform all shows on time as designed by Entertainment Supervisor
- Daily inspections of all aspects of events, shows and areas assigned to you
- Repair any technical aspects of shows facilities as needed
- Requires keeping your work location and the park clean and sanitary for all guest and team members
- Assist in the moving of props, sets and other aspects of the show, before, during, and after the show
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner and utilize appropriate PPE
- Navigate in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific production in potentially dark and restrictive spaces
- Help to manage and maintain the House before and after the show, to assist guests with questions and to help clean the house in preparation for next performance.
- Train new personnel as needed
- Reports directly to the Promotional Events and Entertainment Supervisor
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Basic technical theatrical skills required for all positions. Expert skills required for some positions
- Required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to work with ladders, scaffolding or lifts
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the length of shift
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- April - October: Spring 10-20 hours weekly, Weekends only; Summer: 20-30 hours weekly, Monday - Sunday. Varied shifts.
