This position is responsible for the management of Food & Beverage locations. Must provide guests with World Class Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an area of Food & Beverage locations including the staff, revenue, and operation of the locations.
- Manage team member breaks in alignment with park, state, and federal labor law guidelines.
- Responsible for adhering to Park cash handling procedures while ensuring staff does the same.
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed as well as proper environment for all employees regarding safety and sanitation.
- Responsible for portion control, adherence of recipes, and timeliness for all food products.
- Prepare and/or cook food at assigned station based on menu and anticipated usage as business dictates.
- Responsible for proper rotation of all food products, proper storage of all food products, and proper maintenance of inventory.
- Perform periodic performance reviews with team members and leads.
- Provide leadership for team by training and developing staff in all areas of appropriate business.
- Follow all opening and closing procedures and checklists.
- Delegate tasks as deemed appropriate.
- Use chemicals and products in accordance with product label and MSDS standards.
- Report all acts of malfeasance to appropriate management personnel.
- Enforce Park policy with all staff and guests.
- Complete any and all task as requested by Six Flags Management.
- Reports directly to the Food & Beverage Full-Time Supervisors.
- Must be at least 16 years or older.
- Experience working within the culinary services industry preferred.
- Reliable transportation that supports an early morning shift start and/or late evening shift end.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and to execute quickly and effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
