Six Flags internship program offers a unique opportunity for college-level students to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality and amusement park tourism industry. As an intern, you will be placed within an Admissions department and tasked with day-to-day operational duties that support the overall success of the park. Through your work, you will develop leadership skills and provide excellent guest service. You will work closely with a team of professionals, collaborating on group projects to ensure the successful operation of your assigned position. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain invaluable experience that will set you apart in your future career. Throughout the program, you will receive support and guidance from the Admissions leadership team. You will be encouraged to ask questions, share your ideas and take on additional responsibilities as you develop your skills. Responsibilities :
- As part of their internship, individuals will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by leading a team of employees and providing them with guidance and direction while they interact with numerous guests on a daily basis.
- Participate in Team Leader meetings.
- Acquire knowledge about scheduling procedures.
- Collaborate in creating and implementing safety and guest experience improvements.
- Complete one project benefiting at least one part of the Guest relations department determined by management.
- Attend seminars held by various departments within the park.
- Work on a real-world business case as a team project with other Interns and present your findings and recommendations directly to Senior Leadership.
