Six Flags America is seeking a dynamic and innovative person to join our In-Park Services Team. This role is responsible for the overall operation and management functions of multiple IPS departments (Food & Beverage, Catering, Warehouse, and Purchasing). Duties include creating Guest and speed of service initiatives to increase revenues and Guest satisfaction scores. This individual is also directly responsible for contributing to the success of all park operation through effective buying, receiving, inventory, and distribution of food and supplies.

- Develop and maintain financial budgets and annual business plans for F&B operations and present monthly forecasts as required.
- Develop, execute, and coordinate Food & Beverage Capital Expenses, from concept through completion, on budget and on time.
- Assure profitability of IPS departments by closely monitoring sales, cost of goods, inventory, operating expenses, and labor expenses.
- Audit food quality, cash handling, and upselling efforts to ensure Guest service standards are being met.
- Oversee Catering operations and work collaboratively with other departments to execute special events including group meetings, picnic outings, park buyouts, and Marketing initiatives.
- Oversee warehouse staff and procedures to ensure all Six Flags receiving and inventory procedures are met
- Maintain the park’s inventory utilizing Eatec, Maximo, Oracle, APTOS, or other required systems
- Ensure that all team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their job responsibilities.
- Develop and promote an entrepreneurial spirit by making recommendations targeting increased sales, profits, and Guest satisfaction.
- Manage, develop, and evaluate the performance of full-time and seasonal staff.
- Interact with vendors and suppliers as a part of the inventory purchasing process.
- Monitor TMV (Team Member Voice Survey) scores and assist in the development of initiatives to address areas of needed improvement.
- Ensure all Federal, State, Local, and park regulations including liquor laws, labor laws, and FDA health guidelines are followed.
- Ensure all areas are well maintained, organized, clean, and meet Health Department Standards
- Interface with Corporate Food & Beverage and Corporate Purchasing team if needed on planning and operations.
- Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management (or related field) or equivalent management experience in food industry.
- 5 years of experience as a theme park supervisor/manager of Food & Beverage, restaurant management experience, or experience in multi-unit Food & Beverage related field preferred.
- Certified in Safe Food Handling and responsible alcohol service (TIPS) or obtain certification within 60-days.
- Budget planning experience along with proficiency in MS360; Outlook; Excel; and MSWord). Prior experience with inventory tracking system a plus
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supervising large teams and interfacing with all levels of management and across various departments
- Ability to multi-task and have a keen eye for detail and follow up.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to provide training and instruction for multiple operations
- Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.
