Job Summary :
This position is responsible for overseeing legal compliance to federal and state regulations for payroll. Facilitate payroll for all associates for Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor. Oversee and coordinate associate benefits, leave of absents and perks.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities :
- Process full-time, part time and seasonal payroll, including batch creation, payroll deductions, federal garnishments, manual checks, and W-2s.
- Balance and distribute weekly payroll reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of final wages per state regulations.
- Maintain payroll records per record retention policies.
- Record paid time off (vacation / holiday / sick) and audit for accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of final wages per state regulations.
- Maintain payroll records per record retention policies.
- Coordinate with Corporate Benefits Team / Benefits Administrator for payment of company disability payments, collection of dues, and tracking of new hires.
- Record all park associate Leave of Absences per Corporate Six Flags procedures.
- Administration of park associate benefits (Complimentary Tickets, Season Passes, etc.).
- All other duties as assigned.
