What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Services Team Member position at Six Flags Theme Parks?
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
This is a position at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, in Spring, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Removing trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti, both behind the scenes and in Guest’s view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and dustpan while continuously walking your assigned section.
- Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary.
- Wiping down all trash receptacles, tabletops and counters in assigned section.
- Giving guest directions if needed and answering any question.
- Removing and replacing new partially filled liners inside trash receptacles.
- Transporting trash from the trashcans to the park compactor areas and separating materials as necessary to adhere with park recycling rules.
- Preparing restrooms for park opening each day.
- Cleaning up bio spills using appropriate materials.
- Enforcing all Six Flags policies.
- Assisting in other areas of the Park Services department.
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- A clear demonstration of excellent Guest Service skills and an evident commitment to our Guest First philosophy.
- A clear commitment to total safety, and a strong, safe background.
- A Team First attitude and a people-oriented approach to leadership.
- Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written format.
- Self-starter ability to anticipate and manage multiple projects of a varied priority through planning and preparation while working with a high level of attention to detail.
- The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and sun.
