This position ensures the dish washing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
What You Will Be Doing
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, tableware, and utensils. This includes loading and unloading dishwashers, washing items by hand, and ensuring everything is spotless.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area. This includes wiping down surfaces, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed. This may include helping with food prep, cleaning up spills, or assisting with trash removal.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations. Follow all Six Flags policies and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Work efficiently and effectively. Keep up with the workload and ensure dishes are cleaned promptly.
- Pay attention to detail. Inspect each item for cleanliness and remove any remaining debris.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Collaborate with others to ensure a smooth operation.
- Take pride in your work. Deliver high-quality results and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, speak, and understand).
