Available Shifts:
- Swing Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Friday)
- Graveyard Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Saturday – Monday)
Position Summary:
As an Armed Security Officer with Six Maritime, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at our landside posts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your armed status to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of verifiable security experience
- Valid California Guard Card
- Valid Exposed Firearms Permit
- Successfully pass a background check per federal, state, and local laws
- Successfully pass a drug screening as permitted by law
- Meet all state and local licensing requirements prior to employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years of verifiable security experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- TWIC card holder
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Physically fit; able to climb stairs and walk for extended periods
- Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution
- Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to variable work schedules
