What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Stack Engineer position at SixMap, Inc.?
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to work equally across both frontend and backend development. While experience with React is not required, you should have strong frontend skills and be willing to work with React as our primary frontend framework. On the backend, you will work with Python and Spring Boot, contributing to APIs, services, and overall system architecture.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, learning new technologies, and building scalable, high-performance applications.

Responsibilities- Split your time 50% frontend, 50% backend, ensuring smooth integration between the two.
- Develop and maintain frontend applications, working with React (or learning it quickly if unfamiliar).
- Build and optimize backend services using Python and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to create seamless user experiences.
- Work with APIs, databases, and cloud services to build full-stack features.
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to best practices in testing, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay up to date with modern development tools and industry trends.
- Experience with frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with any modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.), with a willingness to work with React.
- Experience in backend development with Python and/or Java (Spring Boot).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
- Experience with authentication, security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging tools for both frontend and backend.
- A mindset of adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and system scalability.
