Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fleet Planner to join our dynamic team in Boston, United States. As a Fleet Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our fleet operations, ensuring efficiency and safety while meeting customer demands. Hourly rate $23.25

• Manage day-to-day fleet planning and operations, focusing on efficiency and safety
• Monitor and track shift activities, including vehicle movements, cleaning schedules, and future vehicle needs
• Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts
• Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to maintain optimal fleet performance
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of car rental transactions
• Manage branch inventory effectively, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Analyze fleet utilization data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet size, composition, and distribution
• Collaborate with other departments to align fleet planning with overall business objectives
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fleet management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in administrative tasks, preferably in an office environment, automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency in basic computer navigation and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• At least {AGE} of age
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts as needed
• Willingness to travel (5-10% of the time), which may include air travel
• Flexibility to wear a company uniform
• Knowledge of fleet management software is preferred but not required
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptability to changing priorities and workload
