What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Associate - Oven Baker position at SIXTEEN BRICKS?
Artisan bakery needs an Oven Baker in a hands-on manufacturing and production environment. An Oven Baker is responsible for proofing and baking all breads and rolls. Breads will be baked to an appropriate color at an appropriate temperature. The Oven Baker must know the appearance specifications and food safety requirements for all breads and rolls, and execute those steps. All work will be done in a professional, neat and efficient manner. Applicant must be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and tolerate working in a hot environment while standing for long periods of time. Prior bakery experience is an asset.
Pay Frequency: bi-weekly
Schedule requirements: day shift; weekends and some holidays required
