What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Medical Director position at Sixteenth Street Community Health Center?
Job Responsibilities :
- Participates in developing medical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Serves as the Direct Supervisor of all Medical Providers at the building of oversight, including specialists. Includes conducting the annual evaluation process.
- In collaboration with the VP of Medical Affairs, design and implement disciplinary actions for direct reports when necessary.
- Work with the appropriate Development Director to recruit, interview, and onboard new hires.
- Work with the Clinic Manager to plan site meetings.
- In collaboration with clinic leaders, implement, monitor, and revise clinical workflows based on clinic-wide initiatives.
- Review patient satisfaction survey results bi-annually and work with the Clinic Manager to design workflow changes or other interventions based on result trends.
- Serve as a backup for the Medical Director of Education, QI, and Research to approve all learners that will rotate at Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers at any time.
- Approve Provider Privileging requests.
- In partnership with Clinic Managers and other Medical Directors, facilitate unity and integration across clinical sites.
