What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist position at Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers?
- Provide psychological testing and evaluation when relevant.
- Complete treatment plans for all insurance.
- Complete assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other written documentation as needed.
- Complete all necessary billing encounters.
- Act as a treatment and resource person for other therapists in the Behavioral Health unit.
- Monitor case records to ensure quality and professionalism with the Department Director.
- Act as a resource person to other departments when needed.
- Ongoing needs assessment for staff training purposes and assist in the implementation of in-service training programs in cooperation with the Department Director.
- Developing and aiding in implementing new treatment programs under the supervision of the Department Director.
- Supervising any interns working in Behavioral Health.
- Perform after-hours on-call emergency triage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin.
- Highly developed ability in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests, specifically, objective, projective, and cognitive test batteries.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills in clinical interviewing.
- Demonstrated ability in group therapy, group management, individual therapy, and family counseling.
- Supervisory skills needed to oversee the work of interns.
- Demonstrated skills in consultation and the ability to work as part of a team.
