Job Overview
We are seeking an innovative and detailed-oriented professional to fill the role of Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities
- Provides account services to members by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks.
- Answers questions in person or on telephone and refers members to other services as necessary.
- Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions and ensuring drawer is in balance.
- Maintains supply of cash and currency and turns in excess cash and mutilated currency to vault.
- Complies with credit union operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions.
- Maintains member confidence and protects credit union operations by keeping information confidential.
- Responsible for all aspects of the account opening process, including all required documentation has been received.
- Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of existing accounts ensuring all contact information is up-to-date.
- Identify the needs of new and existing customers and offer appropriate services to assist the Credit Union in deposit growth, business relationship growth, and consumer relationship growth.
- Answer questions and customer concerns regarding checking and savings accounts.
- Resolves client complaints and error resolution in a timely manner.
- Exhibits excellent time management skills.
- Input consumer and mortgage loan information into loan system for processing purposes.
- Collect financial and other pertinent data for submission to underwriting and loan processing department.
- Maintain working knowledge of electronic banking products, including internet/mobile services, cash management and electronic payment solutions.
- Perform some clerical duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.56 - $16.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
