SUMMARY
We are looking for a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to join our team at SJC Cultural Events, Inc. In this role, you will primarily focus on implementing targeted marketing campaigns for Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and a variety of specialty events, including the Sing Out Loud Festival. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager, following strategic guidance from the Marketing Director and Chief Marketing & Public Relations Officer. Duties include liaising with talent management, creating engaging promotional campaigns to drive ticket sales, and managing our online presence, all to ensure our events captivate and connect with our audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns specifically for concerts, events, and festivals at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and other designated specialty events across various advertising mediums including digital, radio, print, outdoor, grassroots, and crosspromotional marketing platforms.
- Liaise with talent buyers, agents, and artist management to gather marketing collateral assets and coordinate advertising plans specific to the artist.
- Craft compelling copy for promotional materials, social media posts, press releases, and email marketing campaigns to align with the overall messaging and brand voice set by the Marketing Director and Chief Marketing & Public Relations Officer.
- Ensure all marketing materials and information aligns with show/ event specific messaging on all advertising, venue/ event website, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with the Creative Content Manager in social media management and analytics to optimize our online presence and audience interaction.
- Assist with the planning and execution of day of show duties, including but not limited to, the coordination and shadowing of approved media, onsite activations, social media posting, updating onsite venue collateral (marquee, hyper screens), etc.
- Manage relationships with media and promotional partners to ensure maximum exposure for Ponte Vedra Concert Hall events and other specialty projects.
- Monitor trends in the music and venue marketing industry to keep our strategy ahead of the curve.
- Research audience and artist demographics to help shape marketing plans.
- Support the Marketing Director in managing show specific marketing budgets and settlement reports.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to report campaign results, providing insights, and recommendations for future campaigns to Director of Marketing.
- Cultivate and foster collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners, facilitating effective communication and cooperation to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with graphic design, photography, and/or video editing is a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, related field or equivalent years of experience required.
- A minimum of 23 years of marketing experience in the music or event industry is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

TRAVEL
Up to 20% of travel between St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra; travel may be sporadic.
