What are we looking for?
We want to add a Residential Counselor (RC) to our team at our newest location in Ithaca, NY. As the RC, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our residents, one of our organization's top priorities. We are looking for someone who loves and is passionate about people and supports SJCS's mission and vision.
Your overall essential responsibilities will be the following :
- Prioritizing best practices in person-centered care concerning each resident’s individual dignity and integrity, including their unique goals.
- Taking care of and ensuring that our residents are safe and taken care of.
- Provide orderliness, cleanliness, and structure to the program’s day-to-day operations.
- Developing, fostering, and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with residents, their families, and the SJCS team
