The Data Management Specialists are highly meticulous, organized candidates who manage the quality and accuracy of data. Their primary responsibilities include auditing and correcting, ensuring appropriate requests and authorizations are in place, and providing support for data- related tasks as assigned. They work with colleagues to ensure accuracy of data entry across the company and managing data for reporting measures and payment, among other duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Auditing data entry into multiple systems.
- Correcting, managing, and supporting the quality and integrity of data.
- Updating information upon request.
- Engaging in continuous quality improvement practices to support the needs of the agency.
- Adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Working with colleagues to ensure accuracy and timeliness of entry across multiple systems
- Supporting colleagues on information systems
- Assisting with both internal and external audits.
- Controlling access to data
- Providing trauma-informed customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilizing storage software and applications for electronic data entry.
- Performing transcription and conversion work.
- Finding solutions to common mistakes and problems in data entry
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1-year applicable experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, IMPACT and/or CareMatch.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, PII, and other privacy security requirements.
- Body mobility to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, and walk.
- Stamina to work long days and drive long distances.
- Light to moderate lifting.
- Must have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to give and receive verbal and written instructions (with or without hearing aids).
- Must have the ability to read fine print, have sustained vision, and peripheral vision (with or without glasses).
- Environment requires dexterity to remain calm and adapt to fast paced and emotional environments consisting of children with moderate to severe emotional and psychological needs.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Home-like settings with varying moderate to high degrees of background noise.
- Light and ventilation are found in a typical home setting.
- Some travel between locations required.
- Campuses are smoke-free, except on permitted campuses in designated areas.
- Possible injury when lifting or moving if employee fails to use proper body mechanics, or if proper techniques are not used.
