What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Lab Customer Service (Shipping and Receiving) position at SK Dental Lab?
Work as part of a team of 4 people to handle incoming/outgoing dental office laboratory cases. Assist with internal case distribution, dental lab case disinfection and support client relationships by answering calls and responding to their questions or concerns. Coordinate with the department supervisors to ensure timely processing of lab cases. Interact with dental offices to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and how to handle and resolve complaints.
Work days/hours: Mon-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM (1 hour break).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in customer service
- 1 year experience in shipping and receiving
- Intermediate or higher skills with computer software
- Dental Lab, Dental office and/or Shipping & REC. experience very favorable
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, disinfect and process incoming laboratory cases.
- File and entry lab cases into the lab management system
- Distribute cases internally for timely processing.
- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing lab cases.
- Prepare cases for delivery by sorting into the proper route bin for the drivers.
- Customer Service
- Provide information to clients in response to inquiries about products and services.
- Address and resolve client concerns and requests.
- Coordinate with drivers and technicians as needed to ensure accurate information is given to clients regarding case progress and status.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
