We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Planner to join our team at SK Food Group Inc. This role plays a vital part in advancing the development and sustainment of proactive maintenance strategies, ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the maintenance work backlog, prioritizing incoming work requests, and managing the pipeline of non-reactive maintenance tasks. They will also scope requested work, examine equipment systems or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installation steps, services, or repair tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily maintenance processes to ensure a smooth flow of work
- Review work order priorities and asset criticality to effectively sequence planned work
- Scope requested work, examining equipment systems or facilities to determine needed installation steps or repair tasks
- Apply proven reliability practices and methodologies to job plans and PM procedures
- Estimate labor and skill requirements for planned work, including corrective repair and PM activities
- Request materials and supplies from MRO Buyer and storeroom personnel
- Ensure work is fully planned and ready to schedule to meet plant deadlines
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent required; two-year technical or bachelor's degree preferred
- Five years of experience in industrial maintenance with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and carpentry
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to leverage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Knowledge of reliability principles involved in Preventative/Predictive Maintenance and Precision Maintenance techniques
