Supervises and audits the third shift team including outside contractors, associates, sanitation leads, and all shift janitorial staff.

Supervises and audits the third shift team including outside contractors, associates, sanitation leads, and all shift janitorial staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Manage SK sanitation associates and 3 rd party contractors for pre-operation sanitation, operational sanitation (including inspecting, cleaning and oversight of cleaning of equipment during plant operation hours), dishwashing sanitation, and common area sanitation.
- Audit and update Master Sanitation Schedule, and ensure the SK Sanitation team performs MSS tasks in a timely and thorough fashion.
- Manage equipment assembly in adherence with specific SOPs and Plant procedures, resulting in timely preparation of the facility for a visual Sanitation Pre-OP and for a Quality Assurance Pre OP, including ATP swabbing.
- Ensure plant is in compliance with Company, USDA and FDA requirements, while ensuring cleanliness of facility to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
- Oversee all factory activities and staff for all departments on 3rd shift.
- Provide leadership, development and ensures proper safety training for all Sanitation associates, as well as audit for safety training compliance for sanitation contactors.
- Ensure proper timing of release of plant to Production Management.
- Manage and adhere to Sanitation budget.
- Manage relationship with 3 rd party sanitation contractor and chemical company.
- Follow SKFG safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) rules and regulations. This includes, but not limited to, coordinating with safety to maintain “Right to Know” Stations by ensuring all Safety Data Sheets(SDS) are posted and up to date.
- Develop and Implement SSOPs in coordination with QA and sanitation contractor.
- Train new associates on sanitation practices using SSOPs.
- Perform document control and review daily documents for sanitation.
- Continue to improve sanitation practices by optimizing sustainability (water usage, chemicals used, labor, time etc.).
- Audit sanitation practices, SSOPs, and chemical concentrations monthly, sharing a report of recommendations & compliance with Leadership.
- Train non-maintenance personnel on Authorized lockout tagout (LOTO).
- Examine/Recruit suppliers of expendable supplies to reduce costs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or eight years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Chemical Hygiene/Safety preferred. Experience in a USDA facility required.
- Food Services Health card
- HACCP certification
- Knowledge of chemical use, including safety and disposal required.
- Basic math skills required. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Technical writing skills required.
- Must be able to think logically, problem solve, troubleshoot. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite, is required.
- Must possess strong time management, people management, communication and organization skills.
- Must be a team player, able to coach and develop associates.
- Must possess an understanding of how equipment works and its design.
