Responsibilities:
- Assist both technology market researchers and solution architects in designing and implementing a technical roadmap for AI data center software stacks to help inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand emerging AI data center concepts and map foreseeable, enabling software solutions for them.
- Analyze technical requirements, map feasible solutions, and document a technical roadmap pointing to emerging software solutions needed for modern AI data centers.
- Learn to survey and collect domain expertise in AI data centers from industry leaders and emerging companies.
- Dedicate efforts in learning and staying current with the latest AI data center industry trends by studying academic papers and industry whitepapers.
- Understanding basic purchasing/trade: supplier selection, negotiation, delivery and payment
Requirements:
- Recent grad and/or current students seeking master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, a PhD student preferred
- Strong understanding of cloud software platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), as well as hardware infrastructure in data centers, especially in GPU servers, is a strong plus
- Familiar with the following areas:
- Cloud Computing Resource and Cluster Management
- Orchestration software’s key features, such as Scheduling and Resource Pooling/Allocation for optimizing GPU clusters’ performance (e.g., fault tolerance, check-pointing) and utilization rate (e.g., GPU fractioning, time slicing)
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a collaborative team environment
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $25.00 - $47.00 per hour. Your Recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
