Business Development Director – Milwaukee Area Based (Remote Based)
This a remote based role but this individual must be in the Greater Milwaukee area.
Our client, a global engagement company in business for over 50 years, with more than 1600 employees and greater than 25 sales offices throughout the U.S. and around the world has an immediate opening in the Milwaukee area for a Business Development Director. The primary focus of the BDD is to "land & expand" new accounts.
Their mission is to turn inspiration into real results for their clients in the areas of sales team motivation, channel sales solutions, employee engagement, building dynamic customer loyalty programs and creating impactful corporate events, contests, and incentives better than anyone else. They have the experience, tools, and resources to help businesses tap into that knowledge to drive and sustain results. They are currently seeking a talented sales professional to join their Milwaukee sales team. The BDD is an individual contributor and is charged with new business development with large corporate accounts. They have the experience, tools, and resources to help businesses tap into that knowledge to drive and sustain measurable results.
Qualifications:
* Must be currently located within the specified market as this is a hybrid role and the requirement is to be in the office when not in the field.
* Minimum seven years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
* Clear history of new business development selling marketing solutions, or professional business services
* Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in large accounts
* Large volume sales experience ($250k plus per sale)
* Experience with a broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months)
* Four-year college degree is preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required, Proficiency with web, SaaS, and mobile applications a plus
Base Salary is $135K plus an uncapped commission plan. Additional Benefits: Business Development Directors are automatically eligible for a full suite of performance management reward programs, including an annual President's Club travel award. Other benefits include car allowance, company laptop, mobile device reimbursement and full expense account for client entertainment.
