We are in search of a driven and detail oriented Associate Producer to join our core team at SK Studio. The Assistant Producer will provide production coordination from concept to completion on all designated projects. We appreciate a start-up mentality –– an individual willing to go the extra mile to create astounding projects and seamless client experiences. The ideal candidate must be comfortable collaborating with small groups and assisting with the management of medium to large teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- High degrees of confidentiality and discretion are expected
- Personable and strong communication skills
- Good technical production skills
- Basic knowledge of photo and video production, from pre to post
- Positive, go getter attitude with the ability to self-start
- Prior experience working on set and familiarity with production environments
- Creative thinker who can identify emerging trends
- Comfortable working on set and being on your feet for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- Fluent in Excel and microsoft office document creation
Responsibilities:
- Manage special projects as designated
- Account Management
- Collaborate with Executive Producer and Creative Director to ideate and create highly engaging concepts for clients and editorial projects
- Coordinate team and logistics for on-location projects
- Attend project meetings and record detailed notes for review and follow-up by SK team
- Work alongside Executive producer to prep for projects, including talent casting, location hire, team logistics, shoot schedule, and catering
- Predict next steps and needs on set to stay ahead of potential problems and maintain a seamless shoot experience
- Identify areas of improvement and bring them to attention of Executive Producer or Creative Director at appropriate times
- Generate new leads and build relationships with current clients
- Tailor and review client contracts
- Manage hand-selected freelance teams per project including interviewing, prep, negotiation, and contracts
This position will start as a 3 month contract, to move to full time in the new year.
Salary : $3,600 - $4,800
