At Skagit Radiology Inc, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mammography Specialist. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. As a Mammography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients, operators, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammograms and procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
- Maintain patient care, comfort, and safety during exams.
- Ensure images and documentation are accurately uploaded into PACS in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with front desk staff regarding changes that may impact patient schedule flow.
- Provide optimal customer service and patient care while utilizing AIDET service principles.
- Maintain equipment service manual, delivery schedule, and related statistics.
- Clean and maintain all equipment according to required decontamination procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A CERTIFIED RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST PROGRAM REQUIRED.
- CURRENT WASHINGTON STATE RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
- CURRENT ARRT CERTIFICATION.
- CURRENT AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) HEALTHCARE PROVIDER BLS REQUIRED.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- MINIMUM 2-YEAR MAMMOGRAPHY CLINICAL EXPERIENCE.
- RECENT EXPERIENCE IN MAMMOGRAPHY PROCEDURES AND BIOPSIES A PLUS.
