Essential Functions
Performs direct patient care, utilizing established policies, procedures and standards.
Administers contrast and IV's according to policy and procedure.
Accurately executes provider orders according to policies and procedures.
Performs indirect patient care, utilizing established procedures, policies, and standards.
Communicates pertinent information to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
Performs accurate and timely documentation according to SRH guidelines.
Adhere to ASRT, ARMRIT and ARRT standards of practice.
Able to work independently and unsupervised and be available for regular emergency standby coverage off-hours and on weekends.
Availability to work at multiple locations.
Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff according to policies and procedures.
Ensures that supplies and equipment necessary for patient care are stored in an organized and efficient manner.
Demonstrates correct and safe techniques in the use of equipment according to specific product information.
Follows appropriate procedures for obtaining and returning or cleaning / disposing of equipment and supplies.
Participates in economical utilization of supplies and ensures that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Adheres to Diagnostic Imaging policies.
Education
High School diploma or GED required Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology training program.
Experience / Training
Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferred.
License / Certifications
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) required. ARRT candidates are preferred to have Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Certification. ARRT candidates are required to attain MR certification within 1 year of hire and maintain a current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS required.
