Overview:
Your Role:
- Become thoroughly familiar with the Hotel complex’s computer system, network system, and cable infrastructure.
- Work closely with Hotel IT vendors and service providers in maintaining the Operations and Guest WiFi Networks, Phones, TVs and other essential technologies, collaborating and troubleshooting when needed.
- Possess a working knowledge of all software applications used in the Hotel complex to both: troubleshoot effectively and provide basic user training.
- Track and manage all IT equipment to maximize operational efficiencies and uptime
- Create and maintain an accurate inventory of all computers and peripheral equipment.
- Facilitate all moves, adds, changes of users and departments.
- Assist in the implementation of new software, hardware upgrades, and support of the network including file servers, print servers, switches, routers, and network cabling.
- Organize and manage all server equipment and IT closets and equipment
- Support of various systems located in the Hotel Complex including the Property Management System, point of sale systems, and call-accounting system.
- Support of the Telecommunications system.
- Aid other departments with equipment and systems including house-sound, CATV, and Security systems.
- Aid and technical support for the Hotel staff. This includes the setting up of computer equipment, installation of networks and special telecommunications circuits.
- Assist with annual budget process.
- Work with Director of Engineering and service partners to successfully complete initiatives and projects, communicating regular status updates as needed.
- Participates in team meetings.

Compensation
$32.69 – $37.50/hour

- This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
- A minimum 3-5 years of technical implementation and integration experience with hotel PMS and POS systems.
- 3-5 year of technical experience with point of sales systems (POS) in a hotel environment
- 3-5 years IT related experience, troubleshooting, systems administration, and Windows Server and desktop support.
- Experience and working knowledge of VoIP business phone systems.
- Strengths and background with TCP/IP network troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work on-call in an emergency.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.
- Networking experience (TCI/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, Wi-Fi Networks, routing).
- Able to self manage and work independently
- Able to track and manage multiple projects
- Strong ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates high initiative to identify, analyze and solve technology problems.
