What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Services Set-Up Attendant (Banquet) position at Skaneateles Country Club?
· Treat all members and guests in a courteous manor and follow the code of conduct established by Skaneateles Country Club.
· Assists the Events Director with all events in any way needed.
· Follow daily set up assignments provided by the events service’s supervisor
· Must follow the direction of the Events director and Event Services Supervisor to assure correct set up has been completed in accordance with the BEO.
· Complete daily set-up assignments accurately and in the allocated time allowed
· Reports any employees who are not following the code of conduct to the Events Director. The Events Director will assess the need for disciplinary action and implement discipline if needed.
· Reports all member and guest issues to the Events Director.
· Review weekly banquet event packet with the Events Director and the Event Services Supervisor.
· Able to work independently the majority of your shift and completing the work in the scheduled time provided.
· Provides layout and designer commendations to the Events Director and Event Set-Up Supervisor.
· Assists with all audio-visual equipment as needed.
· Assists with the maintenance of all set up equipment (Tables, Chairs, Linens, Table top décor, Serving pieces, Audio-Visual equipment.
· Assists with the maintenance of all work and banquet storage areas (Table room, Linen room and Closets).
· Assists with the maintenance of all banquet equipment and décor.
· Reports broken or damaged equipment to the Events Director.
· Moves furniture as needed.
· Sets up and refreshes all function rooms throughout the day.
· Works with the Housekeeping Staff to ensure that all areas, front and back of house, are clean and organized at all times.
· Assist Housekeeping with bathroom checks during a function as needed.
· Assist members and guests with unloading and loading personal décor for their events.
· Set up of all events on the point including wedding ceremonies.
· Assist with the orchestration of all events including wedding ceremonies as needed.
· Assist with needed member and guest transportation on SCC grounds during events as needed.
· Follow event time lines.
· Attend all pre-service meetings prior to an event as needed.
· Works with the Executive Chef, Banquet Captain and Event Services Supervisor, if assistance is needed, when executing food from the kitchen to the dining room or other designated event locations.
· Act as a food runner for all events as needed.
· Assists food servers and bartenders as needed.
· Transports food service-related supplies to the halfway house as needed.
· Set up of all events on the golf course including the halfway house and the point.
· Assist with maintaining table linens.
· Assist the Event Services Supervisor with accepting and pick up of rental orders.
· Assists the Event Services Supervisor in maintaining all rental equipment to assure it is re packaged for return to the rental company.
· Drive club car as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
