Skaneateles Dental Associates (SDA) is looking to add to our team an amazing dental assistant. We are a high paced fee for service practice based on a high-quality patient experience.
The perfect hire is high energy, can multitask, and can bring a “can do” attitude to the team.
Experienced Preferred. We need someone who can bring their experiences to the office but can adapt to the way we do things. Previous experience is preferred, but for the right person person we can train.
Primary Role is of a chairside assistant; however, we believe in a team approach to our days.
Our office needs team members who don't get locked into "their jobs" but understands that it is the goal of all team members to help each other through the day, with the idea that our patient experience is why we are all here.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Chairside assisting the doctors
2. Team approach to patient flow throughout the day
3. Multitasking: While keeping an eye on the schedule looking for changes while chairside assisting the doctors.
4. Sterilization: process instruments and supplies as needed
5. Watch for other assistants in need of help.
6. Assist Hygienists as time allows.
7. As needed, answer phones, help the front desk.
8. Housekeeping as needed
9. Attending training sessions as needed to add to your skill sets.
9. Other duties as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
