Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Hardscaping Installation Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and construction of various hardscaping elements, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and more. You will work closely with our landscape designers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and specifications to execute hardscaping projects.
- Perform excavation, grading, and site preparation work for hardscaping installations.
- Install pavers, natural stone, concrete, and other hardscaping materials according to industry best practices.
- Construct and install retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and other custom hardscaping features.
- Operate power tools, heavy machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the delivery and placement of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in hardscaping installation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hardscaping materials, techniques, and construction methods.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting design plans and blueprints.
- Comfortable operating a variety of power tools and heavy machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
