Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Use various electrical tools, including a voltmeter and ohmmeter
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Ensure all electrical work is completed in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely completion of projects
- Work safely and efficiently on a construction site
- Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and their applications
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Experience
- 2 years of experience as an Electrician or in a related field
- Proven experience with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience working on a construction site
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
- Strong mechanical aptitude and handiness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.85 per hour
