What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Textile Expert - Weaver position at SKAPS Industries?
- Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weave various types of textiles using a variety of weaving techniques
- Operate and maintain weaving machines and equipment
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Handle materials and supplies using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Sew or mend fabric as needed
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on weaving machines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Weaver or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different weaving techniques and patterns
- Proficiency in materials handling and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid forklift certification is a plus
