SKD Restaurant on St Pete Beach is now hiring Hosts and Hostesses for our Restaurant. If you like to work in an ever changing and upbeat environment this job is for you!
We are looking for responsible individuals with a friendly, upbeat personality to join our team. Must be dependable with reliable transportation. Previous experience is preferred.
Host job duties include:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Managing a waitlist
- Communicate with servers and bussers
- Assist in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for guests
- Cash handling
Physical Requirements include: extended periods of time on your feet, including frequent walking and standing, carrying/lifting/pushing/pulling of up to 30 pounds, unassisted, and some bending and squatting.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to help create an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits from guests.
