Essential Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to consistently meet or exceed weekly customer acquisition goals tailored to the Hawaii market Track and report on weekly progress towards acquisition targets to the District Sales Manager, adjusting strategies as needed Analyze Work division performance account data and provide insights to the District Sales Manager Plan, organize, and host in-store and on-site events to promote Skechers brand and drive B2B engagement in Hawaii Distribute marketing materials to promote Skechers, tailored to the Hawaii market Represent Skechers at local trade shows and industry events to expand B2B network in Hawaii Provide regular reporting on account status, sales performance, and relationship health to the District Sales Manager Develop and implement community involvement and outreach initiatives in Hawaii by identifying and participating in local community events and charitable activities and building relationships with local organizations and community leaders
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales and client acquisition targets
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong business acumen with a customer-centric approach and a strategic merchant mindset
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with a good driving record
- Flexibility to travel across Hawaii
- Adaptability to work in various environments (office, retail locations, client sites)
- Experience in event planning and execution
- Understanding of the Hawaii business landscape and local culture
Education and Experience:
- Experience in the footwear or retail industry preferred
- Proven track record of growing and maintaining long-term business relationships
- Demonstrated success in meeting weekly or monthly goals
- Experience in organizing and hosting promotional events
- Familiarity with the Hawaii market and business community is a must
Key Performance Indicators:
- Weekly client acquisition numbers in Hawaii
- Penetration rate of our occupational footwear (Work)
- Brand awareness metrics within Hawaii’s B2B community
- Impact on overall stores performance by increasing in store traffic attributable to B2B initiatives, growth in store sales directly linked to B2B partnerships and improvement in average transaction value for B2B-related purchases
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting and moving of products for demonstrations or events
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods during events or client visits
- Ability to set up and manage in-store promotional displays and event spaces
This role is crucial in driving the success of Skechers in Hawaii by consistently acquiring new B2B partners, serving as the primary liaison between Skechers and its business clients, and actively promoting the brand through in-store events.
