Essential Job Results-
- Support the configuration and implementation of Workday Payroll and Absence modules for the US and Canada
- Provide expert guidance on payroll and absence management processes, compliance, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll and absence systems with other HR modules
- Develop and maintain payroll and absence-related reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Troubleshoot complex payroll and absence issues and provide timely resolutions
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and change management processes
- Stay current with payroll and absence regulations and ensure system compliance for US and Canada
- Train and support end-users on Workday Payroll and Absence functionalities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system optimization efforts
Technical
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Absence modules
- Advanced knowledge of Workday configuration, including security, business processes, and integrations
- Proficiency in Workday report writing and analytics tools
- Experience with payroll and absence management systems and processes for both US and Canada
- Understanding of payroll tax regulations, absence policies, and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with HR information systems and database management
- Knowledge of data migration and integration techniques
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as Workday Certified Payroll Partner, Absence Management certification, or similar
- Experience working in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones when necessary
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to user satisfaction
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
