About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational 3D Footwear Designer to join our team at Skechers. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing innovative and cost-efficient footwear products that meet our brand's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop next-generation footwear products under the direction of the Sr. Director of Design and Special Projects.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales personnel to maximize effectiveness and sale-ability of our products.
- Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and directions through international and domestic travel, shopping the markets, tradeshows, and researching the competition.
- Create accurate, detailed, high-quality renderings and CADs quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, Fashion Design, or Graphic Design.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive shoe designing experience and knowledge of shoe constructions and materials.
- At least 2 years of experience in footwear 3D design and 3D modeling.
