Skedaddle Inc. is hiring immediately for full-time Package Delivery Drivers in Salina, KS. Earn starting pay of $18.00/hour. We have immediate openings for employees available to work 4 days a week, 08:00 AM - 06:30 PM, on a Mon Thu/Fri/Sat schedule.
Skedaddle Inc. is a FedEx delivery contractor and this parcel delivery courier career is a great position for anyone with prior experience as a package handler, warehouse associate, or transportation team member. This role is located at our delivery sortation terminal in Salina, Kansas.
The ideal candidate for this logistics career is an individual that is obsessed about safety, service, and making the day of each customer. The Package Delivery Driver role is a physically demanding, outdoors position which requires being able to work at a steady pace while lifting packages weighing up to 150 pounds. A typical team member may walk up to 5 miles per day to the front door of addresses while continuously standing, climbing, bending, and pushing/pulling carts.

WHERE IS THIS POSITION LOCATED?
This position is based at our delivery terminal in Salina, Kansas at 3660 Scanlan Ave, Salina, KS 67401.
WHEN DOES THIS POSITION WORK?
This role will work 4 days a week, 9 - 10 hours per day, generally between the hours of 08:00 AM - 6:30 PM. We have immediate openings for team members available to work Monday Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
WHAT ARE THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVER?
- Operate a Cargo Van delivery vehicle. This role will require completing a DOT physical and obtaining a DOT medical card (paid for by the company).
- Work for 9 - 10 hours per day to complete a full delivery route where you may deliver packages to 50 - 100 addresses per day.
- Walk, lift, climb, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
- Lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 150 pounds each on a frequent basis.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, managers, and delivery terminal employees.
- Speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
- Operate a global positioning system (GPS) navigation system for guidance to each delivery address on your route.
- Use electronic devices for route navigation and planning, along with for scanning packages for delivery or pickup.
- Full-time consists of working 32 – 40 hours a week (8 - 10 hours/day, 4 days a week). There may be adjustments including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of year, peak seasons, and other factors.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE?

- Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
- Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a Commercial Driver Medical Certification
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
