Job Summary:
SKF has established a regional finance support structure in the Americas, based in Blue Bell, PA, supporting SKF Finance Operations Centers (FOC’s) in North America (NAM) and Latin America (LAM). At SKF Finance has have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient, and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of next generation Business Finance.

The Finance Operations Centers at SKF in the Americas includes Accounting & Reporting (Record to Report – R2R), Accounts Payable (Procure to Pay – P2P), Accounts Receivable (Order to Cash – O2C), Central Controlling, Internal Control, and Finance Processes. Finance Operations Americas has two FOC’s located in Blue Bell, USA and Puebla, MX.

As a Finance Regional Process Manager in the AMER region, you will be part of the Regional Support Americas team and report to the Finance Support Manager Americas, part of the Global Finance Operations & Development organization. You will be responsible for overall Finance process governance within SKF Finance process guidelines, framework, and tools in process scope, providing support to FOC’s teams in the region. This position will also be part of the implementation team of the SAP Finance module as part of the Americas SEP project and other finance-related system implementations and process improvement activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for implementation of process changes within the process scope, responsible for identifying topics for cross-process alignment.
  • Identify business requirements and how these impact process design.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement, optimization, and automation of process.
  • Identify the competencies needed and develop competency development plan.
  • Support implementation of defined process measurements (KPIs), evaluate and suggest process fixes to improve results.
  • Provide problem resolution support for Finance applications issues.
  • Support Master Data Management in scope.
  • Work together with IT teams to perform process and system evaluations to improve business operations.
  • New systems and processes: testing, evaluation, and modification of local procedures when applicable
  • Perform on-site and remote/online training on the Finance applications.
  • Support audits (Tax, Accounting, SICS, Government)
  • Be a Key User of the Finance applications in scope.
  • Be a team player and cooperate across processes and organizations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Seven or more years of experience within Finance and Accounting functions/department.
  • Understanding of Finance processes and process development, and expertise of processes in own process scope.
  • Process deployment, project and change management skills.
  • Driving business needs management.
  • Service-oriented approach, good communication, negotiation, networking, and teaming skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, capability to facilitate and drive change within a global organization.
  • Hands-on experience with Finance applications (SAP, Blackline, Cadency).
  • Strong analytical and PC skills (O365, Excel, Power BI, etc.).
