As a member of our team, you will be responsible for all facets of manufacturing processes and procedures, working with both Product Engineering and Operations to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for new and existing engineered products.
Responsibilities
- Develop Standard Manufacturing Processes: Define proper manufacturing process steps for new and existing engineered products, estimating correct labor standards and tracking variances.
- Improve Manufacturing Efficiency: Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research, improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Design and Specify Tooling and Fixtures: Design and specify tooling and fixtures needed to manufacture products, understanding heat treating, machining, and grinding methods and processes.
Requirements
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, and operational personnel.
- CAD/CAM Skills: Competent with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) and CAD/CAM NX preferred.
- Teamwork: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
