As the Logistics Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing the warehouse staff members, planning operational execution, and acting on data analysis. In addition, you will oversee warehouse organization, receiving & distribution of retail & rental equipment to the stores in a timely manner, as well as maintaining the rental fleet and tuning machinery.
Major Duties:
- Manage 2 department leads: Receiving Lead, Rental Lead, and drivers
- Directly responsible for a fluctuating warehouse of 6-12 employees
- Manage Rental Warehouse Operations to ensure the quality and maintenance of rental gear through regular tuning, repairing, and proper storage of over 20,000 items
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure stores are operating efficiently
- Predict needs of Rental Gear based on recent trends
- Coordinate with store managers for weekly inventory and needs
- Manage the distribution and weekly restocking of rental equipment to our 14 stores in a timely manner as required.
- Oversee Receiving Warehouse Operations to ensure retail inventory is received, priced, distributed accurately to meet the needs of our 16 locations.
- Coordinates the loading, unloading, and scheduling of company delivery vans to distribute and retrieve rental and retail gear.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security and safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintains physical condition and organization of the warehouses.
- Maintains 5 company vehicles and schedules general maintenance and repairs
- Operate a forklift as required for warehouse operations
Schedule:
- Schedule: 30-50 hour work week - weekends and evenings required as necessary.
- Hours per week depend upon receiving schedules.
- Typical Schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm
- Position works at the warehouse daily.
- Typical week is Monday through Friday.
- Holidays and weekends as needed
- Occasional location visits and/or travel with drivers for training purposes.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
- 4 years experience as an effective result driven warehouse manager
- Valid Driver's License with no recent moving violations.
- Competent in the use of the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
- Reading, writing, math and communication skills are required.
- Propensity to be a hard worker
- Competent in using filters, formulas, and pivot tables in excel.
- Must maintain a high level of organization and the ability to finish tasks efficiently once started.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Capacity to lead by example

- Ability to think tactfully and help to implement change in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to be a people person with a keen balance of holding staff accountable

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for several hours.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Frequent lifting and moving of merchandise or other inventory.
- Vision to read detailed instructions and labels, distance and color vision, peripheral and depth perception.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
Work will be performed in a warehouse environment and at stores as needed.
Pay/Benefits:
- $58,000 - $65,000 Annual Salary
