Skidmore College Economics Visiting Assistant Professor JEL Codes : A10, D00, E00 The Department of Economics invites applications for multiple non-tenure track, two-year positions at visiting assistant professor rank, beginning in the fall of 2025. Applicants must present evidence of excellence in teaching and possess a strong desire to teach in a liberal arts environment. Candidates will be required to teach introductory microeconomics and / or macroeconomics as well as electives in their field(s). The standard teaching load is 18 credits per year, which is 5 courses per year with a mix of 3 and 4 -credit classes. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics, although advanced ABDs may be considered. We are especially interested in candidates who have experience with diverse populations and can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research and teaching.
