What are the responsibilities and job description for the VR (Virtual-Reality) Robot Operator position at Skild AI?
SUMMARY
Skild AI is hiring in-person robot operators at our Pittsburgh office. You will be piloting robots using a VR headset and a full body tracking suit. The majority of your work will be spent in VR, and prior experience, familiarity, and comfort with VR is required.

REQUIREMENTS
This role will require you to use your body (arms, hands, legs) to operate robots, primarily from a standing position. You should be comfortable with standing and upper body manipulation. You must be comfortable using VR. Comfortable, thin clothing is necessary to be worn under the suit.
OTHER DETAILS
This role requires you to be available for 6 hour shifts between 12p-6p, or 6p-midnight. You will be expected to meet a bar of performance on both the quality and quantity of the data you collect. The wage for this role is $25/hr. To qualify for this role, we require a 4 hour paid trial shift where we will evaluate your VR and robot control capabilities. Trial shifts will be held starting ASAP, from 12p-midnight, in 4 hour blocks (12p-4p, 4p-8p, 8p-12a).

If hired, you will be brought on as a contracted employee (1099), but after a period as an operator will be able to become a full or part-time W2 employee.
