Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Product Owner (AI/ML) to join our team. This individual will collaborate with business product managers and technical teams to implement machine learning (ML) solutions and define product strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML product management, experience in the pharmacy domain, and a solid understanding of business analysis and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business product managers to define the scope and strategy for AI/ML-based products.
- Gather and define product requirements for machine learning solutions, and manage product backlogs.
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure AI/ML solutions are developed and implemented according to business needs.
- Ensure continuous alignment between business objectives and technical development teams.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, feature elaboration, and product demos.
- Facilitate collaboration between business, technology, and AI/ML teams to deliver high-impact product features.
- Own and maintain the technical product roadmap for AI/ML products.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams to ensure timely product delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues and improve product functionality and performance.
- Facilitate product backlog grooming sessions to ensure the highest-priority work is prioritized.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define user stories, product features, and technical requirements.
- Foster relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and priorities.
- Advocate for non-functional requirements such as scalability, reliability, security, and performance of AI/ML solutions.
- Monitor product health metrics and KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvements.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in product management, specifically focused on AI/ML products.
- Strong understanding of machine learning applications, and experience working with ML teams.
- Solid experience with Agile methodologies, including managing product backlogs and sprint planning.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile tools.
- Experience in the pharmacy domain (preferred) or related industries such as e-commerce or banking.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, especially in the AI/ML space.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a consultative and proactive mindset.
- Strong background in business systems and gap analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools such as Visio.
- Experience with technical product management for AI/ML solutions.
- Background in AI/ML technologies, machine learning models, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of AI/ML best practices in the context of product management and development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, and technology development, with a focus on AI/ML solutions and pharmacy or similar industries.
Soft Skills:
- Strong consultative approach and ability to proactively identify and resolve product issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and manage stakeholders.
- Experience in managing the product lifecycle from ideation through development to release.
