Our company was incorporated in 1984 within the State of North Carolina, and opened its doors for business in August of 1985. The company has continually grown to a point where we currently serve more than 600 individuals, and employ more than 1000 people across the state.
Skill Creations is a human services agency that operates three service divisions. The ICF Division provides specialized long-term residential care to 191 individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities in 15 different towns in North Carolina. The Community Operations Division provides residential and non-residential services to persons with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities in their home community. The Child Development Division, with two locations in Goldsboro, provides high quality child care and preschool for children ages birth - 5 years. One center also offers after school care through age 12.
Description
Our center is looking for a DEPENDABLE, CARING, PATIENT and DEVOTED lead teacher fro ages 6 weeks- 12 months of age.
An employee in this position will plan and implement weekly lessons and carry out daily routines and activities, monitor and supervise children, provide a nurturing and safe learning environment, meet the needs of each individual child .
Position Requirements
Criminal Check : Must have DCDEE Criminal Check Qualification Letter
SIDS : Must be current or completed within 4 months of hire.
Education :
Preferred : Associates Degree in Early Childhood
Required : NC Early Childhood Crednetials and currrentlly working towards an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood.
Experience :
REQUIRED - 1-2 years of experience working with infants.
Payrate Range : $17-$19 / hr
