REMOTE POSITION - The candidate will need to travel to GUAM periodically for a week or two. All associated expenses paid by the client.

Network Engineer for Corporate and Operational Technology Scope of work to include the following :

• Lead the strategy for network architecture and network services to support data, voice, video, telephony, and other network dependent technologies.
• Continuously identify simplification opportunities in the infrastructure’s technical business processes and driving these efforts to completion.
• Design and recommend network solutions to integrate with current and future planned infrastructure
• Work with project leads and IT partners to build and develop plans that include strategic and fiscal requirements.
• Provide advice and consulting support to the project teams.
• Maintain an understanding of the GPA’s business issues, operating procedures and priorities. Provide recommendations with opportunities to improve GPA’s business agility.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes to accelerate provisioning of new systems
• Collaborate with other enterprise architects to ensure data center designs are aligned with business requirements.
• Participate in architectural meetings with technical resources across all departments.
• Build and maintain technical documentation including technical platform summary documents and strategic roadmaps.
• Provide assistance with other duties as related to the above.
• Assists with the Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Incident Response planning and testing.
• Provide assistance with other duties as related to the above.

Network Engineer responsibilities include :

Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability

Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)

Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
